I have never been one of those people who is laser focused on protecting the environment, but after I became a homeowner, I knew that some things needed to change. Our monthly power bills were simply out of hand, and it was really frustrating for me to see how much they were impacting our everyday life. I knew that we could save a lot of money by turning off lights and unplugging unused appliances, so I started thinking about how to make those changes.
